Default PCV Valve differences? H22 and D16

I have a H22 I want to swap the PCV valve on and I thought rather than spending the money Id check out a spare PCV I have from a CRX D16. They have different part numbers but look the same, will it harm anything if I use the CRX one? Can anyone explain to me why they should be different? My guess is that they are a check valve of some sort

Here's a pic....H22 on the left, D16 on the right
