pcv system upgrade
Ive heard that Honda pcv systems arnt that good so i wanted to get some more ventilation to my crankcase. Here is an idea that i had keep in mind its just an idea.
What i wanted to do is drill a hole in the black box on the back of the block, then add a second pcv valve and hose that drains to the atmosphere. That way i could still have the vacuum relief at idle and more ventilation at wot. What do you guys think does any one see any problems doing this and is it even worth it?

i was thinking about it a little more and i would vent it into a catch can probably instead of the air. Some one has to have done something like this before.
If you really want some positive ventilation, take the existing line that runs from the black box to the intake manifold, run it through a catch can, and into your exhaust with an angled pipe. Just be careful you don't suck your oil seals inside out, you can get a lot of vacuum like that.
If you just run it to the atmosphere, you're missing out on the oppertunity to pull a vacuum on the crank case, which is benificial in many ways.
