Paint for brake parts?
I have a customer that wants us to paint his brake calipers and other related brake parts painted to match the body color. Any suggestions of what type of paint that would hold up to the heat? We thought of powder coating the parts, but that doesn't seem to very cost effective at this time. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Yea, i did some searchin on the 'net and found some caliper paint. I didn't know they made the stuff. It's like 12 bux a can. Might try the grill paint cuz it's bit cheaper. THX for the repies.
best one in my opinion is VHT
, I tried all of the autozone, kregan, pep boys brand without any good results. they would start peeling within a few weeks, that's including when I baked them in the oven, still peels regardless.
