Default p30 obd1 ecu help!! pls read.

background:
i bought my b16sir2 about 2 years ago from HMO, i installed it myself but took it to a shop to get the wiring done. i kept getting IACV code, so i kept going to different shops to see what the problem was, kept changing IACVs and nothing. came to find out later it was my ecu (about 8 months later, so i couldnt call HMO to get a replacement). i bought a "spoon chipped" ecu from ebay (i know, real stupid of me) and no more code. the problem now is that after a while of driving i get black "dust" on my rear bumper, i also consume oil. i have been driving like this for more than a year. i changed my valve seals thinking thats why i burned oil but that didnt fix the oil consumption. I kept thinking it was my piston rings.
Today i did a compression test, leak down test and a vacuum test.
compression test was 180-185 across all cylinders
leak down test showed little to no air leakage(no air leak from TB, exhaust or radiator. a little on the crankcase)
and vacuum test showed 23 inches at idle (900 rpms)
my teacher told me i was running rich and what was on my rear bumper was carbon build up. im thinking he is right since the "spoon" ecu i bought had advance timing and upgraded fuel aswell. he said thats why im probably burning oil too, too much gas burns the oil inside the chamber.
My question is, i still have my original p30 ecu, i opened it up to see why the ecu was throwing iacv code when sensor is working properly but i didnt see anything, only brown residue on some soldering spots. Can someone help me what to look for in my p30 so i can take care of this problem.
sorry for a long story Any help appriciated

Take a closer look at that "brown residue", there's probably a solder that burned out, just resolder it.

Your teacher is wrong, hate to tell you, but if you run excessively rich, there won't be any oil consumption. B16s aren't two stroke motors, there shouldn't be any oil going through your combustion chamber, my guess is that you have a bad PCV valve.

ok. do u know where in particular i should look on the ecu? ill change my pcv valve and see what happens. is there anyother place in the pcv system that i should look at, or that could be a possible spot?
wouldnt running rich spray too much gas in the cylinder and walls and cause the oil to burn when combustion accours?
thanx
