p30 ecu question please help

I have my engine check light on and I just got a P30 ECU OBD1 for my 98 hatch with a JDM B16A I am also getting the harness do i need to tune my car after i install the ECU or can I just plug an play and move on once I install it. please let me know

So you did an ODB-1 conversion but you don't have the adapter harness yet? How does that work....? You should be able to plug and play once you get the adapter harness...
