is chipping a usdm p28 the same as chipping a jdm p28? i'm just wondering because i need a p28 ecu to chip for my d16z6 and i found someone selling a jdm one i'm just wondering if it's the same thing.

 

no, i dont think you can chip a jdm p28. you can pm boosted hybrid, he maybe able to help you out more

 

Jdm ecus are chipable, but they are a little harder to chip.
I have yet to see a jdm p28 ecu..... I have however seen a jdm p08

 

that's what i have a p08 but nobody around here knows how to chip it that's why i want a p28 and this guy says he has a jdm p28 for a b16 so if he says it's a p28 does that mean it's usdm?

i recently bought a chipped P28
now I throw a CEL code 36
36 = JDM traction control
So I think I might have a JDM ecu
not sure though

p28s are USDM ecus.
