p05 to a p06?

Default p05 to a p06?

iv got a d15b8 and am putting on a d15b7 head. now the b8 is a po5 ecu with a 1 wire o2 sensor will i have to get a po6 and convert to a 4 wire or will my po5 run just fine..

if i have to convert to a 4 wire how would i go about doing that..

i have a canadian 92 cx

the only hardware difference between the P05 and P06 is the heater control. Not a big deal honestly, a lot of us run with the heater disabled through tuning.
i don't really know the difference between the P05 and P06 maps but if there is any that's what you would need.
IMO, simply chip your P05 so it will run the P06 maps and disable the heater control and it should run fine. And when you get everything running, tuning is always the best move.

so i can just run my po5 on the b7 and it wont throw any cel or anything. i am planning on getting ride of the afc hack and chipping the ecu and retuning.

yes the P05 should work fine. Especially once it's chipped. It should not throw any CELs, and you can use your existing one wire O2.
