Overheating saga has ended :)
after all that testing, trying, and frustration...turns out...the coolant was dirty as hell....a 10min flush later...and I'm good as new

hehe...I didn't think that was it....but before I dished out all the money for water pump, and timing belt, I was like, well WTF, it doesn't hurt to try...and viola!!!!
