Default overheating

got a ek with a gsr swap, new radiator, thermostat and hoses, even put a mishimoto fan switch in it, and its over heating coming up to 3/4 on the gauge, way higher than it did before i did the swap, any suggestions fan comes on after it gets hot, thinkin maybe the radiator is junk but it was brand new, lookin for another direction to go....

Thermostat, is it opening all the way?
Rad fan, is it running in the right direction?
What size rad, [half size or full size] how many cores?
When does it overheat, sitting still idling, city driving, [stop and go] highway driving, low or fast speeds, all the above? 94

ok it over heats at idle or when driving, wired up the fan to run constantly and still over heats(not in the red at 3/4 up the gauge),when i rev it up it seems to have alil white or grey smoke, could be condensation, no coolant in the oil, not losing much if any coolant, when hot hoses have alot of pressure

fans running right way, just put a new rad in to see if it was that, put a new temp sensor in it, shot with a temp gun reading 223degress f. at the thermostat
