Default overheating...

my car has been overheating recently. the temp needle seems to jump up and down for a bit then overheats. im getting bubbles in my cooling system because when i open the bleed valve a stream of bubbles comes out. i recently had to change refill the coolent due to a hose leak. not sure if the leak was the cause to this or not. im pretty sure i bled the cooling system good because i did it like 20 times and bubbles still come out after being drivin for a bit. i was thinking it is the HG but my coolent is not backing out into the resevior or anywhere like most peoples. any inputs?

You either need to bleed the coolant system totally free of any air, or perhaps you need a new radiator cap.

fill the rad and the overflow and run the car with the rad cap off and wait till the thermostat opens... i usually let it open twice...when the thermostat opens you'll see the coolant in the rad go down so add some at this time and then cap it off. running it with the cap off should rid the system of the air. do it all the time and haven't ever had an air pocket
