over heat problem plz help!
when i drive for awhile my car start to over heat, the needle start to raise. i try to bleed it out and run through the system to check if there is air bubbles, and the bubbles never stop. i check the compression to see if the head gasket crack or something but the compression is fine. have this ever happen to any of you? and what do you think the problem is. radiator is not leaking there is no leak
i have an eg
thanx a lot

If your thermostat is fine, your waterpump is fine, and there are no leaks or restrictions... then you need to make sure you burp the system until there is no more air in it. Make sure you are using the proper procedure for burping the coolant system.

doing a compression test will not reveal a blown head gasket. A compression is more for testing weak rings. The best was is to do a leak down test - this way if your cylinder have a 15% or more leak - it can be trace were the air is coming out of.
However, if you know that you have a good thermostat, cooling fan's work, water pump okay, no external coolant leak, and that you have porperly bleed the system - it is safe to stay that you have a head gasket failure.
other thing - if your trying to bleed the system and cooling fan cycles more than twice and it seems that air is present - two things can cause these:blown gasket and thermostate. One way to check if head is blown - remove the plugs and check if you can see a greenish color on them and if you can see white smoke at the tail pipe during warm up.
