out of curiosity
to advance the timing a lil on a 96 integra se...is it a long process or can i just turn the distributor the slightest bit towards the firewall...also if i turm my ignition key to start the car but not hold it enough for it to crank over why do i get this funny sucking sound..kinda like one of those horns on a really old car....last but not least i hear a very slight hiss when i turn the car off and have my head under the hood...are these normal or something to look into...btw the car is completely stock just that the resonator was taken out for the airbox...i need a
well i know the hiss you are talking about if its like 1.5 seconds its just the last bit of air sucking into the intake so if you put the resonator back in i am pretty sure it would stop and im supposing the horn sound might also come from that but that one is new to me
the horn sound isnt when shut the car off its only if i start it but not enough for to fully crank over just a real quick turn of the ignition to start it but dont hold it there for it to start....sounds like a sucking vacuum sound...maybe sucking air in to the throttle body to start it...
