i am looking for a sohc cam (92-95 vtec) anyone had experiance with gude performance ?? any other suggestions ??

3 years ago bought a cam for my 97 ex went through a bunch of bs on core charge and shipment time on the cam plus it was expensive and the cam didnt seem to do **** on my motor maybe they got better since it was 3 years ago

Gude = not good

 

I would go with JG engines or RS motorworks, both companies we have worked with and they have made lots of power out of sohc vtec engines.

 

I have had a gude 2522 on my sohc D15b2 for close to 6.5 years now. I have to say it was one of the best mods I have. Pulls strong- especially on the freeway. Don't expect to buy a cam and have it snap your neck when you drive. I noticed the benefits after driving with it for a while. I wouldn't bother unless you have I/H/E at least.
