Old fuel injection cleaner
Since we don't have a fuel-fluid section, here goes.
Old dad was cleaning out the garage. For some reason, he had a stash of fuel injection cleaners. STP, Gumout, etc. I say 15 bottles. Brand new, factory sealed.
I know for sure they are 5 + years old.
Are they any good? Or I should say, will they be harmful in anyway if I was to use it today?
I don't see an expiration date.

I have boxes of Gumout F.I. cleaner that have been sitting for a few years as well. No exp. date either. They were free-bees so I dont care either way. I'd rather give them away than use them myself, but I was wondering its shelf life too..
Since posting this thread, I've done some reading.
There is one group of people that would say, there is no real proof that FI cleaners really do make any difference. So it's not like I (we) is really going to noticed anything. So go ahead and use it, and burn it up. Dumping will only cause a fire in the landfill somewhere.
Then there is the group that say, it's fine. Just shake it up before you pour it, just incase the chemicals have separated.
