ok, there is a JIC flt-a2 online for sale i want to get with custom rates of 14k front and 10k rear. he had the shocks re-valved for the higher spring rates. now he wil give both sets of springs( origional 10k front, 7k rear). basically i dont wanna run that high SR on the street so would the 10k/7k springs run good on the 14k/10k valving?
holy ****, Realtime only uses 2K to like 3.5 or 4K in the back and and between 700 to 1K in the front.....i really don't think you want or can get them that stiff....14K sounds a little off to me...where are you getting these from.. and what shocks are you getting revalved to handle that
*edit - did you mean Kg instead of K*

realtime rsx uses 700-1000 in the front depending on track an 2000 in the rear. where did you get that false info from?
the kid selling the jic's had new 14k/10k springs put on his flta2's and had them revalved to handle the higher rates. can anyone help me or what?

so what spring rates do you believe they have? the information is not wrong. have you ever drove a car with spring rates higher than 1K. if you have you would know that 2K is not very forgiving. and to where the info came from i have personally seen the RTR ITR and seen the specs on the car. the new RTR RSX uses something close but not sure.
*edit - and if you still don't believe write Peter Cunningham at info@realtimerl.com <info@realtimerl.com> ask him yourself
all i am saying is i think the spring rates are wrong,*

ok i think were on the wrong page here, my fault. when i say 10k i meant in KG. the equation equaling about 52lbs a kg. (10kg=520 lbs). the realtims has 700-1000lbs in front and 2000 lbs in rear. maybe were on the same page now. can someone help now?

i asked the guy selling them and he said it only chages the amount of clicks. he said that instead going in the range of 15 clicks, it gets tighter per click to only 10 clicks with the new revalving.
