Default ok to replace the clutch disc only?

As of now, i have an ACT XTSS which is the xtreme pressure pate and perfomance organic street disc. It's been doing great for me now for about 10 months. I've never raced on it... there have been the occasional bursts of speed and fast shifting (well duh). I'm about to pull my motor in preparation for a full GE sleeve/hone with je 9:1 pistons, eagle rods acl bearings t3/60-1 .82 ar turbine turbo etc etc. My question is this: I know that my clutch can handle a lot of torque as it is but i don't want it to go out (i'm planning on 25psi) SO can i just replace the organic street disc with a 6 puck ACT disc and be okay or would i also need a new pressure plate?

IMO, if you have any doubts of it going out, then why not just get the full upgrade so you dont have to worry about it. If not, when you have the tranny out, check the fingers on the pressure plate and see if they're warped or worn giving you the sign of replacing.
