Ok Need Help with Tranny Problem, "fluids"
I have a 01 GSR
Ok here is the problem:
Having really notchy shifting in general, more so then GSR should, trouble getting the gears 1 and 2
Buddy of mine said drain the clutch fluid, another said replace tranny fluid
1. does any one have an idea of whats going on
2. I can replace both fluids
3. my options are Redline tranny fluid, or BG Syncro-shift
PLEASE HELP
sidenotes...car has 12k on the odometer
And I don't grind gears

Try the BG Synchro SHift in your trans. It seems to work well on all our customers' cars. Also, make sure the clutch hydraulics are bled properly once you change the fluid in there.
As a side note, as most of these cars get the crap beat out of them, do yourself a favor and put a magnetic drain plug back in to replace the OEM plug. Not sure which one would fit, but one off any 94-97 Accord automatic should work very well.
