Default Oily/Sooty **** around the engine code?

My b16 has been a really clean engine but I've noticed that if I get on it really hard, I start getting that sooty **** building up above the engine code between the head and block....is it just that my headbolts aren't tight enough and it's lifting a tiny bit or what? When I boost, Im changing the headgasket and switching to ARP studs...should it stop?

Quite normal.

You could re-torque the head but you'll need to make sure that the head gasket is good before you re-use it, which some people say to never re-use a headgasket.
