where would you guys put the sending unit to a oil temp sensor on a 1st gen b16

i already have the guage and sending unit so that would not work for me, i was wondering if maybe i could tee of off an existing line, but is that going to work if i am also getting an oil pressure gauge?

For comparable temp readings it needs to be in the oil pan.
