Default Oil Starvation

Long story, but what pretty much happened is that the car lost it's oil and was driven for a little bit before the engine started making noises, and was then shut down. The oil loss was at the oil filter. The oil was refilled and the filter changed, but it's still making noises when the engine is started.

So, my question what most likely was damaged? I know it's hard to tell from the small amount of detail I've given, but I'd just like to get an idea of what might be damaged. I'm guessing anywhere from crank bearings, pistons, cams....

Most likely youhave spun or almost spun bearings. Also check the cam bearings for oil starvation damage. Probably you did some irreverseble damage to your engine. The oil is filtered before its sent anywere in the engine. You consider you engine running with no oil.

General Info - Honda's use what they call a "simple bearing". Which means there is only a thin coat/layer of oil, between the two parts. There is no type of rollor bearing per say. Sooo, any kind of oil failure, will cause serious damage within moments. When that coat/layer is no longer there...

A spun bearing doesn't sound too bad, just as long as the crank wasn't damaged in the process... or the rods.

as soon as that oil light is on the damage is already done. I think it comes on below 10 PSI, maybe as low as 5PSI. ....

I don't know about that, people have their light come one sometimes just from hard cornering. It wouldn't do much good as a warning light if it came on too late.

if the oil light blips on during hard cornering then you have low oil level. Ford Contour SVT's had this problem, due to oil slosh in the pan during hard right turns. There are several dozen pissed off SVT owners who took corners and within a few hundred miles had their engines sieze or come apart. Ford doesnt make this engine anymore. If the oil light even blips on you are doing damage, which might not be apparent for a few hundred or even a thousand miles. but the problems will surface, ususally as loose rod or main bearings.
