Default Oil spraying out of dipstick?????

B20/VTEC engine. Oil is coming out of the top where you stick the dipstick in. Tried another dipstick just to see if maybe it wasn't seating properly, still doing it. Anybody ever heard of one doing this? How can I fix it? Thanks

Is the crankcase vented? Isn't there a problem with the PCV system that has to be addressed?

I would guess (and hope) its just the PCV valve. Otherwise you may have blowby aka rings, aka engine going. Hopefully its just te PCV valve.

He doesn't have any type of PCV system in place. I think he is gonna order one of the Endyn breather kits tomorrow. I'm thinking that might be the problem, too much crankcase pressure. If so, the breather kit should help by releasing some of this built up pressure, right.

Then again, it could possibly be his rings I think. He tore the motor back down to put rods in it. It ran fine when he took it apart but he put total seal rings in it when he put it back together and he says that every time he changes his oil, that the oil smells like gas which leads me to believe that the rings are ****.

The newer non-vtec blocks don't have a breather on the block like the other B engines. The PCV valve is mounted on the valve cover. If he has one of the newer blocks and didn't make some provision for the PCV system he may have a problem.
