You're only getting 22psi? At what RPM?

what headgasket did you use, and have you swapped in a working vtec selenoid? Need a little more info, was this motor/head just assembled or installed? where are you measuring 22psi of oil pressure?

k i use a oem gasket... i bought the motor from this shop called driven motorsports in california, which i got riped from.. he said he did a compression and leak down test , changed head gasket, thermastat, water and oil pump.. everything was working.took his word on it..seemed lugit..the day i bought it, i was draining the oil and there was water and milky color oil coming out, so i know the motor had ran with a blown headgasket.. so i took the head off, and saw on the outside of the piston there was some rust., like the motor has been sitting for a while.. called him said that the motor was sittin out in the rain for a week...(i should of just took it back to him and got my money back) so i went and got it resurfaced. got it all cleaned up, clean all the oil ports. put it back together and there was no vtec, so i thought i had a bad selenoid changed the selenoid and body and still wasnt working.. so i called courntey green and i had him work on it. he changed all the orphices, checked oil pressure from the front side of the head and got 22psi so we checked the block and got 80psi.. so we changed the oil filter and selenoids and still not working. so next we ran a ls vtec setup to see if that the block was cloged and still wasnt working..so there obviously something in the head... so i just put a b16 head on and its working now. end result i have spent 450 on the parts he said he changed..
did my compression and C 1 was 140, C 2 was 136, C 3 was 140, C 4 was 145 is that good? i know its on the low side..should it be higher if its a b18c.. but i wanna send my gsr head out to find out the problem and port/polished it..any suggestions?
