is there a difference betweent the b16a oil pick up and b18c oil pick up? there are some dents on the pick-up where the oil goes in, would that affect my oil pressure. Plus i used honda-bond to install honda bond, would there be some gunk stuck to affect oil pressure? and lets say that i replace my oil pump and my vtec still doesnt work. what then? the solemoid has been tested and its good. any suggestions as to how i can isolate the problem of my oi light and vtec? ive been driving my car for about 500 miles now and everything seems to be fine.

 

if VTEC is not working, and your oil pressure light is on, your car will not be fine for long. Drop the oil pan and double check everything.
