Default Oil Pressure Gauge Intall.

Hey everyone, I have a 2000 Civic SI and i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on hooking up the oil pressure gauge. I've used that adapter that you can use for the oil filter but it doesnt work that well. Is there another way i can hook up to get a direct and better feed? Thanks everyone.

why wouldnt a sandwich adapter work? thats probably the safest way to do it. other option is to tee into the oem oil pressure sensor (left of oil filter) but ive seen them crack from too much weight.

I agree that the sandwich adapter should be the easiest method. I installed mine on a tee, but instead of putting the tee on the block I ran a short piece of braided line from the factory pressure sender location to my tee and attached it to the battery box. That was the most convenient location on my car, but you can mount it pretty much anywhere. That'll keep the stress off the block.
