I have seen a few people run their oil feed from there... and I can't remember why, but I read that it isn't a good idea.

Most people just run them off the back of the block from the stock oil pressure sensor location. That's where I'm running mine from.

You would get more help from the forced induction section. Maybe try reposting this thread in there. Or get a mod to move it for you.

No!!!!! Change it imediatelly. It only has sufficient oil pressure under Vtec. At idle pressure is around 3 PSI. If you dont chnage it you will kill the bushing/bearing. Ask how I know?..........ive seen a 2500 turbo die as a result of this exact set-up. This port is for testing Vtec pressure only!

there is no pressure coming from there.

you need it directly off of an oil passage, from the pump

Take it from a T in the sending unit or else take it from one of the two spots in behind the distributor.

tap it off your oil filter.if u tap the pan wont be enough pressure cause the pump will pick it up before it reasches the line.or u could TAP IT OFF A oil relocator that be good place too.
