Default oil catch cans

i heard that the hose running from the valve cover to the intake pipe sometimes brings oil into the intake and thus the manifold...when i was removing my GSR manifold to install the Shunk one, i noticed a tad of oil on each plenium. i heard that when the oil goes back into the motor like that the motor has a tad less performance and lacks in the emmissions dept....so should i try a catch can? and if so, what company makes them? i know cusco has one, but kinda pricy for the job i'm trying to pull here
