Please, lets have an honest discussion about glasspacks, fart pipes, coffee cans, resonators, and aftermarket mufflers. Performance gains, status gains, etc etc etc. Please keep the insults at a minimum, because it is a person's CHOICE to put a fart cannon on their car, not YOURS.

the only gain had by those muffler is the "straight threw" design over an oem one. but there are plenty of non-fart can style muffler that offer the same "gain" if you sill. I'm not a fan of the look I like my buddy club spec 2....3'' tip FTW


the only car's it looks good on is a Supra, RX7, GTR or an EVO/STI anything else is dumb

I have a fart can on my beater but have an apex WS style exhaust on my z33. I'm too old for fart cans but I have no incentive to waste money on a car I really dont care about.

 

i hate the tips going to replace them with dual tips to look more oem.
but love that sweet v8 music.

 

I personally like the large cannon on mine, anything N/A with a small displacement and they sound like junk. Tiny ones are absolutely awful, you always see stupid *** kids throwing them on Civics and Saturns like it makes them sound cooler or something. If you can achieve a nice low tone with some grumble you're set, as long as you have a decent sized resonator/glasspack to quiet it down. Not to mention they look good on larger cars, like that 300ZX posted earlier. I'm boosted and tuned with a 2.5" back and no cat so that helps just a bit.. lol

 

 

I'm with you... I wasn't sure what to expect, but it surely wasn't this.

I am disappoint.

 

Had a couple on mine. Miss it. Felt sorry for neighbors on cold startup.

I've owned a full Spoon and T1R system in the past, both of them sounded incredible. Zero rasp when using the T1R resonated test pipe. I've since switched to the twin-loop for the new build, I'm excited to hear it. Close friend of mine has a 3" from the turbo back to a 3" Magnaflow and it sounds like a BEAST. Turbo is sooo friggin loud.
