How can you tell if someone has spun back the numbers , on the odometer ? I am looking at a 95 integra and curios about the low mileage.

 

you could always carfax it. When the info comes up, it tells the mileage that a title was transferred, and sometimes when delaerships or inspections do service, the mileage will show up on carfax. I think it's only like 15-20 bucks for a 30 day unlimited trial.

How low is the mileage? I bought my 00 lude w/pretty low miles (21K), and it was easy to tell. The engine bay was still very clean, there was not a lot of dirt/water spotting on the under carriage, and there was very little wear and tear on the vehicle in general. Even after all this, I still carfaxed it to be sure.

 

I talked to the guy the body has around 80k and the motor was rebuilt with sleeves, rods and slugs 29 k ago by InlinePro. I asked him to present the receipts, it looks like a good deal. They build the motor in my last car and it is still kicking after 20k of hard driving.
