Default Odd dipstick issue

Just got my built lsvtec in, Builder welded in my baffle for my oil pan. I go to put in my dip stick and it hits something when fully sealed. I pull it out and about a inch of the stick is bent.. What could it be making contact with? It's not showing any oil on the stick either ( just put in 4 quarts).. appreciate any help, will be pulling the pan tomorrow.

your friend is dumb. If its not showing any oil then you builder didnt do something right.

Measure Twice, Weld Once. The Baffle is obviously the cause.
