I have a ODB2 Car, 99-00SIR.
I have a obd2a conversion harness -- > obd1
plugged it in, plugged in new skunk2 ecu... and i get a engine check light and i dont have vtec anymore.
the code i get is 2 long blinks, 2 short blinks.

Anyone can help me troubleshoot this?

Chassis EK4.
2000SIR Sedan.
B16a4 Engine
S4c Tranny.

Am i supposed to use the ODB2[a or b] conversion harness.

im pretty sure u need a obd2b to obd1 harness not a obd2a to obd1

 

i think i have the correct conversion harness.

Anyone have any clues on what to further check?
