Default octane

Just wondering..what octane are you guys using or recommend on a bolt on (i/h/e) b18b motor? and if you guys use a different octane at the track? Should i use 87 or 93? Would higher octane like 93 reduce power? Thanks..

when for racing or track I would go 93 octane just to be safe and help prevent detonation. For daily driving I would stick with 87 saves $$$!

Buying 93 is a waste of money. B18B motors are designed to be run on 87 gas.
