OBD2b to OBD1
I searched but because I don't know a lot about this topic I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I need to eliminate the o2 sensor on the cat. I have a 00' civic, d16y8 with stock P2P ecu. I know it's going to throw a code with the cat o2 sensor gone. I can I get a P28 ecu with a obd1 conversion harness and still have the car run up to par? Or will the conversion harness work with my P2P ecu?

obd1 p28 will work just fine if you get a jumper harness to convert. i suggest boomslang fabrication.
you can run the obd2 ecu and a test pipe with the secondary 02 in place if you do the o2 spark plugs non-fouler trick http://forums.evolutionm.net/s...15795

Well that's my problem. The high flow cat I bought o2 holes do not line up correctly and I cannot use the o2 because it's too long. So the non fouler trick would make my problem worse. So rather than going through the hassle of getting a new cat I thought I would just eliminate the o2 sensor all together. Eventually I want to run hondata so I would be changing my ecu in the future anyway.
