Re: OBD-II conversion to OBD-I (civicshowracing65)
obd 2 has a o2 sensor before and after the cat obd1 has one before the cat. obd1 will allow you to run a test pipe and if you want to run hondata you have to be obd1.

it is much harder to tune your car with obd2. Also with obd1 you can chip your ecu much easier than obd2 and run stuff like hondata. Also the elmination of annoying sensors is nice. I have an obd1 conversion and its great

Re: OBD-II conversion to OBD-I (SOHC_MShue)
i run an obd2-1 harness and a chipped p28 i didnt throw a code for my o2 sensor, but now i throw code 1 for primary o2. it comes on after about 20 mins of driving but goes away when i shut off my car. my gsr ecu doesnt throw a code. other then that i like my obd1 with chipped p28.
