Whats the difference in the obd2 and obd2b and what year vehicles were thay used in or started to use in.

 

From what little I know, the OBD-2B sockets have teh blank spot on the end, while the OBD-2A ECU's have the blank spot in the middle.

The change affected '99 to '01 MY's on both Honda's and Acura's, altho I'm not sure if it was a universal standard change for all models. They only one's I'm sure about are the '99-'01 Integra's and Civic's.
