OBD2 Inspection help please......
OK... so this isn't specific to prelude guys but whatever. So Im getting Hondata on my '00 SH, and Im good through this year on state inspection, but after that Im not really sure what im going to do... Ive managed a shop that did OB2 inspections and i know OB2 is a bitch to pass cuz the car must be hooked up to the computer and actually had to run while on the inspection computer for like 30 secs i think... (without throwing a code).....
(Searched for treads...nothing..any links if i missed some...)
any ideas... and how are all you other guys passing inspections with Hondata?
Thanx

Unfortunately they also check for your non continous monitors and your continous monitors which take usually 100mi's to set these to complete.
So the Cel has to stay off for the 100mi's and all monitors set to complete they go for the check.
I get people that have went to hondata and what they do is go back to the stock ecu just for the test. and the 100mi's.
In CA the normal smog check stations will not check if you have a modified ECU, but you still have to pass the OBDII stuff above and the sniffer.
