obd2 injectors on obd1 harness

obd2 injectors on obd1 harness
ok i have an obd2 set of injectors that i want to put in my obd1 motor, but i dont have time to buy the clip conversion set... can i just cut the obd2 clips and solder them to the obd1 harness??? i cant use the obd2 harness because it is trashed
