Default OBD2 code p1337??????

I drive a 96 teg gsr I got a check engine light the other day so I scaned the ecu with a scan tool and got P1337 & P1336. I looked them up and they both mean the same thing one is (no signal) the other (intermitent signal) (Crankshaft Speed flucaution). I was told it was a VSS. I replaced the VSS and it did not fix the problem. If I clear the code the CEL comes rightback on as soon as I start the car.
Could someone please tell me which sensor is bad?

check the circuit between the crank sensor and the ecu, wiggle connectors while watching an ohmeter for continuity. If it comes on right away, there is probably an open or short somewhere. if it takes a few trips, then it is intermittant; the ECU uses two trip detection logic in this case.

The code is for the CKF sensor down by the oil pump.

Where did you get the idea that it was the VSS?
