Default obd1 tuning advice needed.

Well, over the long cold winter I've scrambled together a bunch of parts for my car.

First and foremost, the car is a 91 DX hatch converted to mpfi and a d15b. Its currently running obd0 with a shitty tuned pr4 and a vafc. I hate it. With as much fuel trim pulled as possible with the bandaid fix vafc, its still pig rich. The car also blows a bunch of blue smoke above 5k. I don't think its rings as compression in good across the board wet and dry (Don't have the numbers handy, but I did check it out before the car went to the bodyshop for the winter). I was kind of leaning towards valve seals. This is my first Honda, and I'm admittadly inexperienced with them. Any input or ideas on the oil smoke above 5k?

Anyway, I have a fresh Z6 head, with a mild port and a crane 59100 cam, a skunk 2 cam gear and an STR intake maifold. I think I'll pop it on in the spring. I have gathered together everything for the obd1 conversion and need to decide on a tune, as the ecu will be chipped to my preference. The ecm is a p28 that will be chipped with crome. There is also a datalogging cable included for future use. Besides that, the car has a B&M fpr, an OBX header with a highflow cat/ Yonaka cat back exhaust, and an Si trans with an 8.5lb flywheel and a clutchmasters clutch & pressure plate.

As far as a tune goes, I was thinking about just a d15b map with an 8k redline, 4 wire o2 and no knock sensor. Other than that should I do anything else? I'm interested in the full throttle launch control but don't think I can use it without a VSS. I also have a NOS adjustable dry shot system that I was considering using with the 50hp jetting.

There are no local tuners or dynos, but I think that this would be a safe basic tune to get me up and running with the Obd1 conversion, and late spring or early summer I'll try and get some dyno time a few hours drive away.

Any input at all wold be appreciated.
