OBD1 or OBD2
I have a JDM OBD1 H22a that I am putting into a 97'Civic which of coarse is OBD2. And I have someone that has USDM OBD2 H22 and he is putting it into a 95 Del Sol OBD1. OK the question is he wants to trade ECU's so they will just plug in with out the conversion harness but I was just wondering if this would hurt the performance of my engine any or should I do it.
Thanks
Chris

As far as you two trading ecu's....thats questionable, after what I've just mentioned. It's almost contradictory to trade if you already own an OBD1 ecu.
See if he'll trade you engines straight up, w/ecu and all.....then it will all work prooperly if you went with an OBD2 ecu and OBD2 engine.
