Default OBD1 H22a into 97 civic

Help I am stuck at wiring. I have an OBD2 distributor and everything else is OBD1? Should i get the prewired kit from Newman(HCP). Is there any way to wire it up. Help me I need a book called Hybrid for dummies.

You have several options. Wiring is going to be a bitch.

You can use the distributor that you have, but you will need to also grab OBD2 fuel injectors so you can plug them in, unless you can use the OBD1 plugs and plug them up to the OBD1 injectors.

I'd also rcommend you run an OBD1 P13 on that engine, otherwise with an OBD1 engine, the OBD2 ecu will look for more sensors that the engine does not have.

HTH.
