OBD1 ECU to OBD2 Alternator
As my alternator (OBD1) is showing signs of age, I was in the market for a replacement. I came across a high output OBD2 alternator which I read is backwards compatible with an OBD1 ECU. However, as I don't have the typical 4-wire connection, I'm a bit confused on how to wire it's not a direct cross match. See below for my current setup.

Pin 1: White/Blue
Pin 2: Black/Yellow
Pin 3: (empty)
Pin 4: Blue
Based on my setup, would I wire as follows?

Pin 1: Black/Yellow
Pin 2: (empty)
Pin 3: Blue
Pin 4: White/Blue
Thanks in advance!

Referencing the photos I attached in the first post, the following has worked for me.
OBD II Alternator
Pin 1: Black/Yellow (Field Reference)
Pin 2: White/Green (Control)
Pin 3: ---
Pin 4: White/Blue (Indicator Lamp)
In reality, you only need Pin 1 & 2 for the alternator to function.
