obd0 to obd1 wiring problems please help!!!!
IM doing a lsvtec in my 88 crx and im going to buy the wiring harness two switch it over inside the car and i was told there are 4 or something extra wires where do they go and what do i have to change on the motor wiring...please help
Really on all the nonOBD-OBD1 swaps I've done for Rex's, etc. I've always made my own jumper which was pretty much plug and play with the interior wiring harness (I only say pretty much because the interior will have been modified for VTEC, VTM, and the 4 wire oxygen sensor)... Scanning the ECU for a code isn't that big of a deal... Simply ground D4 and it's just like shorting the SCS connector on an OBDI/II chassis... How you wire it really depends on the jumper, with the jumpers I've made nothing has to be hardwired (seems better to me that way) but if yours does require it then I'm sure you'll be running lines out for the oxygen sensor, VTEC, VTEC press, and anything else that I may be forgetting...
This is Mike's (jdmDXrex) jumper that I made for him awhile back... Nothing special but as you can see it's plug and play once you're interior/engine wiring harnesses have been wired for VTS, VTM, OBDI/II dizzy, high impedance injectors (only if you want to take out the resistor box), and the 4 wire oxygen sensor...
