obd0 to obd1 dizzy question
alright so im doing the dpfi to mpfi obd1 swap so my question is when i im converting the dizzy wires can i make my own jumper harness without using the plugs and just straight solder them to each wire? or do i have to use the plugs?
you can solder them but twist each wire and make sure it works good first before soldering.
i did the same swap dpfi-mpfi, obd0-obd1. but i converted my chassis harness to a obd2a plug. 6 months i got a code 8, needing a dizzy change. a year later got a code 9, needing another dizzy change. im glad i swapped my chassis harness so dizzy's were direct swap
not saying youre going to have the same bad luck i was having, just saying im glad i took the time and did it right
