i have an 89 crx with a obd0 b16
after the car warms up if the rpm's get below 3k the check engine light comes on
if i turn the car off and then cut it back on the light goes out but always comes back on. while the car is running the ecu shows: two long flashes in a row followed by 3 short flashes in a row. i replaced the map sensor but it still does the same thing.

If that code is a map sensor code(Havent looked at ecu codes in a while) and you have changed it out, then trace the wires from the map sensor back to the ecu and make sure you dont have a short/broken wire..
long flashes indicate a number in the teens.....2 long flashes = 20
short flashes indicate single numbers..... 3 short flashes = 3
therefore your code is 23
code 23 is knock sensor. check to see if your knock sensor is connected properly.

OBD0 only has 16 codes.. It just blinks normal up to the number.. No need to add stuff together..
Now im not sure if this applys to the PR3 ecu since it is an obd1 ecu with obd0 connectors..

yes it is the knock sensor . check your wiring at the ecu and the knock sensor itself . mine came on this morning on the way home from work . i had a loose connection at the ecu .

my obd0 ecu had more then 16 codes hence the long and short flashes
