Default OBD0 D and B series distributor the same?

I have a new-ish B series dizzy and an original 1990 on my CRX... I used the cap, and everything else seems to look the same... I just need to transfer the plugs as my B dizzy has no plugs on it.

Will it work?

Nobody knows? Everything sure looks the same internally. Guess I'll have to swap it over and see what happens.

What do you mean "newish? What year did it come off of? Obd0 and obd1/2 distributors have different parts inside and can't be swapped (minus the coil and igniter in some cases).

Dizzy from a OBD0 B series... looks the same as the OBD0 D dizzy in my stock CRX. Newish as in hardly used, so I wanted to put it in the CRX.

Thanks

If my memory serves me correct, the holes want all line up. I believe on my first b-series swap years ago I had to fire the car up with an 88-91SI dizzy. I believe it will work, but it has been so long ago.
