OBD problems
Ok so heres the deal...i got a 98 integra with a 95 h22. In other words obd2 to obd1 conversion. I have to have OBD 2 for my car to pass inspection in NY. I recently purchased an obd2 complete head with distributor and IM, and ECU. What are the exact differences b/w obd1 and obd2, and how would i go about converting to obd2 with the parts that i have??? If i swap the entire head setup, can i just plug and play the obd2 ecu. I also have a locash obd 1 to obd2 adapter which eliminates the second o2 sensor. Any help would be greatly apreciated cuz i plan on doing the swap this weekend

obdII had more sensors then OBDI. what you need is a OBDII to a ONDI converter. Cost like 75.00. and that eliminates all secondary sensors on the OBDII harness.

Your OBDII ecu is going to need a crank angle sensor, which you don't have on the OBDI motor so your going to have to wire it back to the dist. and it will eliminate the CEL for that sensor.
For the O2 sensor if you have a adapter for that and it works use it.
As for you saying you have a OBDII head why do you need that,Just use your dist. thats on there now and ethier repin the plugs or buy an adapter for that to.

That's on the oil pump, behind the timing belt. You'll need an OBD-2 oil pump, & the CKF sensor. Maybe trim your lower timing cover to make it fit, or get an OBD-2 lower cover.

You don't need the oil pump and a CKF sensor, you can just wire the 2 wires back to your OBDI dist. and it will run the same and no CEL.
If needed I can tell you how to do it,just IM me.
