Does this motor come with a crank angle sensor. I have been told that they do not but I wanted to verify before I order this ECU. My problem is I have a OBD-1 motor running off a OBD-2 ECU and I am getting a Code 54 (crank angle sensor). I want to keep my car OBD-2 and if I can order a JDM OBD-2 ECU to solve the problem then thats what I will do. I really would like to keep the car OBD-2 but if I have to I will just get a conversion harness and go back to obd-1. Thanks everyone.

Japanese OBD 2 motors are basically obd 1 with obd 2 connectors. My 97 jdm type r came with no crank fluctiation sensor CKF and only has one oxygen sensor. CKP TDC CYP are all sensors in the distributor.

 

code 54 is CKF not crank angle.
