obd2 is suposed to be only good for passing inspection. obd1 is better for sport. i dont see why your failing with an obd2 setup. has to be something else.

so you are saying that obd-2 is easier to pass emessions test? you sure about that? i mean obd-2 ecu are pretty hard cored if you dont have something hooked they will let you know by throwing out the check engine light... and if thats on you wont pass state ref.... going back to my questions can anybody help me out... how would i wire up the second o2 sensor?

obd0 mpfi to obd2a jumper
obd2a p72 ecu
use helms to wire up second 02
make sure you are running a 4 wire primary o2
if going to referee you will also need an obd2 compliant cat.

oh and i just read that you all obd-2 vehicles require to have the dlc diagnostic link connector.. to communicate with the machines there.. if it doesnt it does not pass.. im just going to try obd-1 ill will tell them the motor is a 95 gsr motor.. will be using the obd-1 gsr intake mani...

if it is at the referee, he will look at the stamp on the head and see it isn't a 95. best of luck.
