wats up everyone. listen i have a obd 0 ecu and i have been seeing a check engine for the longest time now (ever since i had it). i check the code frequently and it is always 23, Knock sensor. But recently i went to turn on my car and it was missing like a bitch, i thought a rod had snapped becuase it was jumping so bad. i tried to give it alil gas and nothing. so i turned the car off, then back on...IT WAS FINE. wierdest thing. so i knew simething was wrong but after this happened, my check engine is now flashing on and off. i checked the code again, still only 23, Knock sensor. has this **** happened to anyone else or is my car just FUcked up...
Are you sure it was 23 and not 22. Oil pressure switch? There is no code 23 for OBD0. If you are counting code 23. Get yourself a known good ECU and check for codes.
0 ECU
1, 2 Oxygen Content
3 MAP
5 MAP
4 Crank Angle
6 Coolant
7 Throttle Angle
8 TDC Position
9 No. 1 Cylinder Position
10 Intake Air Temperature
13 Atmospheric Pressure
14 Electronic Air Control
15 Ignition Output Signal
17 Vehicle Speed Sensor
21 Spool Solenoid Valve
22 Oil Pressure Switch
43, 44 Fuel Supply System (KX, KS, KG)
If you are still getting a different code than one of the ones above it could be an intermittent or poor electrical connection. First, check the electrical connections, clean or repair connections if necessary. If the Check Engine warning light is on and LED stays on, replace the ECU.
