Default O2 Sensor Spacer Pass Smog Visual?

I accidentally stripped the threads for my secondary 02 sensor. I recently bought a new O2 sensor (because the original one was throwing a CEL) but I am hesitant in installing it because i dont want to strip the new sensor.

So my question is will using this:

cause me to fail the visual when doing my smog test?

Or do u have any suggestions in what to do in this situation

get a cel fix adapter from bargainbasementdad on ebay, it should re-thread the o2 bung and you can screw the o2 sensor into the adapter also for it to work, win win .

Usually not, even if they do just retake it after removing the cel adapter, they seldon look.

Yeah, I had those, you have to drill out the dormans to much and they'll break off from over tightening them, plus they rust from the inside out and screw up the sensor, I'll stick with the stainless properly machined, but do whichever you want dude.

Sweet, Thank you all for helping.

And why not buy the BLOX one? My friend has it on his Integra and it was a direct bolt on no drilling or nothing and its actually cheaper than the autoparts:

$4.80!!

Because they're carbon steel zinc plated which rusts quickly from the inside, you only get what you pay for...good luck with it dude

go to a parts store with the o2 sensor and get a spsrk plug fouler that it fits in its the smaller one. cut the bottom off of it. its much smaller than what your showing there and im sure alot cheaper. i dont belive they will fail you cause of it its just a repair tell them what its there for.
